Imphal Jamboree is a festival where youth would come together and converge to “Improve the state of youth” by fostering Self employment, Sustaining and reinforcing the spirit of volunteerism and community service, Develop youth leadership in various socio-economic and cultural sphere, Promote a major participatory role for the youth in the protection and preservation of nature.

The festival primarily aim to bring the youth together for 3 days schedule of events thus giving them space to unwind, learn and unlearn, create awareness and empower along the way. Events such as influential talks, discussions, stand up comedy, performances to name some and enterprises initiated by youth would take the primary focus of the festival.

Imphal Jamboree is also an initiative to provide a platform/ market for those youth engaged in start-ups or enterprises, artists, mavericks, designers, chefs to a larger audience and along the way help them grow their presence in the city and also create a atmosphere of good times fill with music, fun, laughter with new and shared experiences of the city’s populace.

#Oinam_Kangjeibung, this is going to be the main venue of this year's Tanglei Festival by Oinam Sports Association.

#Kangjeibung means pologround in Manipuri while #Oinam is the name of the town. Oinam Kangjeibung is one of the oldest pologround on Earth. Many legends of the game was created here on this playground.

The OinamVolleyballChampionship begins from 25th February. The competition was postponed due to the executive election of #AllManipurVolleyballAssociation under which it will be conducted.
For the first time Tanglei Festival has added a state level volleyball tournament entitled, Oinam Volleyball Championship. Initiated in 2013 by Iron Gym Oinam. the OVC 2018 is going to be the second edition of the tournament. Affiliated to All Manipur Volleyball Association, the highest body of volleyball in Manipur the tournament is going to be one of the most decorated sporting event of Tanglei Festival 2018. The tournament will be conducted in league cum knock-out format. Competition is open only for Sub-Junior Category under AMVA.
