Manfete is the grand management event organised by MIMS, MU for 3 days every year since the institution was established. This event was a synchronization of creativity solely aimed at reaching out to the people, specially the student folks with the idea of sharing and building management knowledge. The event comprise of various sub-events dance, unplugged, fashion parade, debate, essay writing, quiz, recitation, spot painting, ex-tempore, video games and many more.

Ougri ’13 is the cultural and technical festival of National Institute of Technology, Manipur which is going to be held from 25th March till 27th March,2013. It is going to be organized for the first time in the institute with highly attractive and entertaining events to be held for the 3 whole days. The festival has the full objective of providing high quality entertainment and competition in the form of these various events. The festival is a combined work effort of all the students of the institute under the guidance of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the institute. The festival will be one amongst the very few college festivals held in the whole north-east area with participation by the students from all over the colleges and schools not only from the state, but from the entire country. The festival will bring about a huge turn in the spiritual awareness, vision and euphoric environment of the people as well.
